DeShelle Burrowes, Associate Professional Counselor
DeShelle Burrowes is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor, a consultant and a speaker based in the Atlanta, GA area. She also is a Sex Therapy trained professional, a Postpartum Support Clinician in training and a Postpartum Support Warmline volunteer. Mrs. Burrowes is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and alumna of Argosy University, Atlanta where she received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
DeShelle has worked with individuals, couples and families of all ages. Her previous positions include serving as a Patient Advocate for several Rape Crisis Centers aiding survivors through their difficult sexual traumas. She was also a Flight Attendant for a major airline for almost 16 years where she worked on the Chemical Abuse Committee supporting her fellow crew members in getting the help they needed in dealing with issues with Substance Abuse.
Mrs. Burrowes is active in her community supporting couples and families. Because of her extensive years of travel she is able to understand many of the ups and downs families face when a spouse travels and how best to keep the connection strong and the fire brewing. Her goals are to educate, encourage and improve the lives of her clients and her community by strengthening and supporting not only intimate relationships but by striving to build a closer bond between families as a whole.
